Since the time of its foundation, the SS.CC Congragtion has been known for its preference to the most difficult places for its apostolate and missionary works. Now, the SS.CC Congregation is present in 40 countries. We work in the parishes and categorical pastoral ministries: the youth, family life, social services, vocation ministries and the migrant workers.
The Congregation firts set foot in Indonesia in 1924. Now, we are working in the Diocesse of Pangkalpinang (Batam and Pangkalpinang), Diocese of Bandung and the Arch-diocese of Jakarta. SS.CC Indonesia has sent some of its missionaries to minister abroad: two in Japan, two in French-Polynesia, two in Hawaii and one in Belgium.
The SS.CC Congregation in Indonesia is making efforts to minister to the Indonesian people and trying to live out the spirituality of the Congregation in the context of Asian cultures.
